Kevin Davis

MA/EdS, LAC, CTP
Licensed Associate Counselor
Certified Trauma Professional

Kevin Davis is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) specializing in attachment-based, nervous-system-informed psychotherapy. With graduate training from Seton Hall University and an undergraduate foundation in sociology from Georgetown University, Kevin brings a uniquely integrative lens to his clinical work, weaving together attachment theory, evolutionary psychology, and contemporary neuroscience to help clients restore safety, connection, and resilience.

Kevin works with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment insecurity, and nervous system dysregulation. Rather than viewing these experiences as isolated diagnoses, he understands them as adaptive survival responses that once served a purpose and can, through the right therapeutic relationship, be gently recalibrated. He sees symptoms not as signs of brokenness, but as signs that the nervous system is working hard under difficult conditions.

His approach is relational, embodied, and state-dependent. Kevin integrates Attachment-Based Therapy, polyvagal-informed regulation strategies, somatic and experiential interventions, and Emotionally Focused principles to help clients move from chronic states of stress and disconnection toward earned secure attachment.

Kevin also works with couples and partners, supporting relational repair and the development of emotional intelligence and connection. His work often includes body-based and lifestyle-informed supports.

A Little More About Kevin

Outside of his clinical work, Kevin values living the principles he encourages in others. He spends much of his free time outdoors hiking, exploring local trails, and staying connected to nature and conservation efforts. Time in natural environments helps him reset, reflect, and maintain balance in a fast-paced world. He also appreciates simple rituals: good coffee and unhurried conversation. Most importantly, Kevin cherishes time with his wife and their two children. Family life keeps him grounded, present, and continually reminded of how meaningful connection shapes who we become.
