A Little More About
Cheryl
Cheryl's therapeutic approach is eclectic, depending upon each client's needs and individual goals. She sees each person as a unique individual and tailors treatment accordingly. She offers a base of person-centered psychotherapy that may incorporate a full array of behavioral interventions to enhance coping skills while supporting insightful growth and self-understanding.
Cheryl believes therapy should be a safe, judgment-free environment that encourages comfortable disclosure and exploration. She recognizes that meaningful therapy involves work that is at times difficult, and that developing a therapeutic relationship based on trust and openness is crucial to the process. She openly encourages communication if a client feels they are not connecting with their therapist, and supports seeking alternatives if that connection cannot be established.
